Research

Research groups at our department pursue research projects at the frontiers of fundamental and applied mathematics. In total, we have around 50 active scientists at all levels from PhD students to postdocs, assistant professors, senior lecturers, and full professors.

We conduct research in four complementary areas

In addition to the four research areas above, individual researchers are also working in complex analysis, mathematical analysis and mathematical didactics.
